Itinerary For Horseback Ride Salkantay Plus Machupicchu 2 Days 1 Night
Day One: Cusco Soraypampa Ccolpapampa
We start from Cusco by 4:am, then we ride our private transport for 3 hours and 20 minutes to the beginning of the road, then we have some breakfast.
Afterward, we start riding our horses for 2 hours uphill arriving at the first pass, then we ride downhill to the lunch place for an hour and 20 minutes.
After some lunch, we ride our horses downhill, for 2 hours and 30 minutes to the camp named Ccolpapampa.
Day 2: Hydro-Electric Aguas Calientes Machupicchu
After some breakfast, we ride our car for 2 hours to the beginning of the trail named hydroelectric train station, then we hike for 3 hours to Aguas Calientes, then have some lunch in this town.
Then, in the afternoon we go to Machupicchu, and have a tour for 3 hours, then back to Aguas Calientes town by bus.
Then, at night we ride a train from Aguas Calientes town to Ollantaytambo train station for 2 hours, and then a car for an hour and 40 minutes back to Cusco city.
