We start this trip from Lima and then we arrive in Cusco city, being this city famous to visit many archeological sites and then we take you to the Amazon jungle to the place called Puerto Maldonado which is a safe place to see wildlife animals and stay in a nice jungle lodge, afterward the way back to Cusco city, and then flight to Lima.

Traveling to Peru is much better, all private, so you do tours at your own pace with a personal touch, then enough time for photos, and videos of all the tourist attractions places we visit in Peru country.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN LIMA, THE CITY OF KINGS

Today we pick you up at the airport and then drop you off at your hotel and then have a talk about your trip in Peru with your tour guide by breakfast time, and then we go to the Pachamac pre-Inca site so this tour takes 4 hours round trip and so this tour can be in the morning or in the afternoon according to your flight schedule.

DAY 2: PISAQ MARKET & SACRED VALLEY TOUR

After breakfast, we head to the airport to catch your flight to Cuzco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Your tour here includes a visit to the Pisaq Market, Peru’s most famous indigenous market, where local artisans sell handmade textiles, handicrafts, and fresh food.

Enjoy lunch at the market and a tour of the nearby Pisaq ruins. Continue on to Ollantaytambo at the center of the Sacred Valley. Visit the impressive Ollantaytambo ruins – large agricultural terraces built into the hillside overlooking the town and its surrounding farmlands. Spend the night in this tranquil town.

DAY 3: TRAIN TO MACHU PICCHU & RUINS TOUR

Have an early breakfast before heading to the station where you’ll catch a scenic train to Aguas Calientes town.

There, take a shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu. Take a tour of the ruins and enjoy the amazing architecture and beautiful landscapes of the valley. Visit the Watchman’s Hut, the Inca Bridge, and the temple of the three windows. Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU TOUR & RETURN TO CUZCO

In this free morning, you can opt to visit Machu Picchu early in the morning to enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the ruins. Later, head back to Cuzco by train and spend the night at your hotel. You may want to go shopping for handmade souvenirs in the many shops in downtown Cuzco.

DAY 5: CUZCO CITY TOUR

After breakfast, a travel guide will escort you to your Cuzco hotel, located near the Plaza de Armas. Relax and get accustomed to the altitude during the rest of the morning. In the afternoon, take a half-day city tour and discover Cuzco’s highlights such as the Cathedral, and the Inca Temple of the Sun called Korikancha.

Go outside the city to visit the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, and Qenqo.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO PUERTO MALDONADO

Arrive at the Puerto Maldonado airport where a guide will welcome you and escort you to your Amazon lodge. The tours offered at the lodge depending on availability, and the lodge category you are looking for.

The lodges include full-board services and expert guides that will show you around the Peruvian Amazon with its vast landscapes and its exotic fauna.

DAY 7: PERUVIAN AMAZON LODGE

Wake up early to have breakfast and visit a parrot clay lick. There watch dozens and dozens of red and green macaws, large parrots, and yellow-crowned Amazons, and enjoy the sight of this colorful wildlife.

After that, we head to a small parakeet clay lick to observe Blue Headed Parrots, Orange-Cheeked Parrots, Cobalt-winged parakeets, and if you are lucky the rare Rock Parakeet.

In the afternoon, learn more about the rainforest ecology and natural history during a walk with a member of the community and a naturalist guide. Afterward, head back to the lodge to enjoy a nice cocktail and relax on a hammock.

DAY 8: RETURN TO LIMA

Have an early breakfast before heading back to Puerto Maldonado to catch a flight back to Lima. Once in Lima you can head back home or continue your trip in South America with a connection to another destination.
