Itinerary For Uros Luquina Taquile 2 Days 1 Night
DAY 1. UROS – LUQUINA
We start the tour by picking you up at 6:50 am then we go by car to the port of lake Titicaca, where we get in the motorboat, then we ride this boat for 25 minutes, arriving at the famous floating islands, where we get off and have an explanation about these islands.
Afterward, we visit their homes and learn a little about their lifestyle, and then we carry on for an hour by motorboat to the peninsula Chucuito which is South of Puno, where the community is located, and Luquina Karina so this is a remarkable place for farming fields, and nice larger beach and also activities for fishing and opportunity to swim.
DAY 2. LUQUINA – TAQUILE
On the second day, after some breakfast we take the motorboat to go to Taquile island where are «the best weavers of Peru», So this island is also a place rich in tradition and customs that are mixed with the Inca period and colonial time.
This tour involves a walk of an hour and a half during which you will visit the main square of the island where you have some free time to see the fabrics in craft stores and also visit a local family where you can have lunch and then return to Puno.
